About Library
The library at Sau. Sundarabai Manik Adsul Polytechnic is a well-equipped and resource-rich hub designed to support students in their academic and research pursuits. With a diverse collection of textbooks, reference books, competitive exam guides, periodicals, newspapers, and national & international journals, the library caters to the needs of students from various disciplines.
To ensure a conducive learning environment, the library is structured into different sections:
- Study Room – A quiet and comfortable space for students to focus on their studies.
- Reference Section – Houses an extensive collection of reference materials, technical books, and research publications.
Stacking Room – Systematically arranged books for easy access and retrieval. To further support students, a Book Bank facility has been introduced, allowing them to borrow essential textbooks for the entire academic year, reducing the financial burden and ensuring uninterrupted learning.
The library is also equipped with digital resources, providing access to e-books, online journals, and databases, enabling students to stay updated with the latest developments in their respective fields. Additionally, the library offers Xerox, printing, and lamination services at economical rates, making it easier for students to obtain study materials and important documents.

- Library borrower cards are non-transferable
- Return the borrowed books by the due date otherwise fine will be charged
- Two books will be issued to the card holder for the period of seven days
- Damage to library books/materials is not allowed if found then library membership will be cancelled
- RLoss of borrower card should be immediately reported to the librarian
- Students are instructed to check the books while borrowing and they will be responsible for any type of damage noticed at the time of return
- Reference books or valuable books are allowed to read in library only
