For any revolution to make an impact, Computer Engineering holds the key. The Department of Computer Engineering was established in AY 2010-11. The Department is Approved By AICTE New Delhi , Recognised by Government of Maharashtra,DTE and Affiliated to MSBTE , Mumbai. Department well qualified and experienced staff and has 12 ME Faculty with good teaching experience. For developing global professions with sound technical knowledge, Department has set up state-of-the- art laboratories having all the leading edge software and hardware to fulfill the requirement of enriched curriculum designed as per Industry standards and requirements.

Total 300 Computers along with a well-equipped project lab have been set up exclusively for final year students for their project work. Department is providing separate Computer Centre for Project work.

Under Train n Hire program, Department has established Industry linkages and MOUs and set up Centre of Excellence (CoE) which includes ProAzur, Jalagi, Rajavi Certifications along with special dedicated training provided in the field of Data Science. Under Expert Lecture , Department Has organised a program for expert  to industry such as, Sumago Prv. Ltd, Fab Software To Provide good knowledge about Industrial work.

To complement and make the curriculum more interesting, competitive and practical, lot of co-curricular activities are organized and conducted. From time to time, these Department  organize various events such as State Level Software Contest, State and National level paper presentation contest, Project Competitions & Workshops on leading technologies like AI and Machine Learning, Data Mining and Cloud Technology, Software Testing, Cyber Security, Java Technology, IOT and Data Analytics etc.

Head of Department
Department of Computer Engineering
M.E. (Computer Engineering)

Welcome to the Department of Computer Engineering, SSMAP. It gives me an immense pleasure to express my views towards the development of Computer Engineering Department. Besides a very strong and disciplined Academics, Department has started various practices. Students are having enormous talents and creativity which are being explored by extra co-curricular activities like Group Discussion, debate, Extempore, Programming contests, project competition etc. The excellent infrastructure, teaching faculty of the best kind of the Department ensuring quality education such as interaction among students, parents and staff, along with a Training and Placement Cell ensures a bright future to its students. Lastly I congratulate the creative and sincere efforts taken by my faculty members and students for the achievement of Computer Department and I wish all of them a great success in their bright future…
